SSPMA Market Survey Committee Survey
Following the Spring Committee meetings, we are surveying members of the marketing and technical committees for feedback on the Market Surveys that have been conducted over the past 3 years and shared with members. Please take a moment to provide us with your feedback on SSPMA's Market Survey project.
Thank you.
Do you find the Market Surveys useful?
*
. Yes
. No
Do you support SSPMA continuing the Market Survey effort?
*
. Yes
. No
We have intentionally maintained similar questions since beginning the project to allow for past comparisons, if you support continuing the effort, do you believe we should continue to use a similar set of questions going forward?
*
. Yes
. No
Do you have any suggestions for modifying the current set of questions?
*
We have relied on an online survey service, Zoho, to assist us accessing respondents using screeners to find: professional plumbers, professional contractors who do plumbing work, and “do-it-yourself” consumers who do or have done plumbing projects. This approach has allowed us to collect 1,000 survey responses. Do you support continuing this approach?
*
. Yes
. No
We recently attempted to use a more targeted list of contractors from Contractor Magazine but struggled to get a meaningful response without incentives. Would you find survey results more valuable than our current effort even if they only reflected, for example, 100 responses from a Contractor Magazine list?
*
. Yes
. No
It has been suggested we may want to continue to conduct the Zoho 1,000 response survey once a year and a much smaller targeted Contractor survey once a year. Which approach would you prefer?
*
-
• Two Zoho/1,000 response surveys annually
• One Zoho/1,000 response survey and 1 Targeted Contractor/100 response survey annually
• Two targeted 100 response surveys annually (this would eliminate the DIY responses unless we add additional surveys)
What other suggestions or comments do you have related to the market survey project?
